YOUR SALVATION IS SECRETLY IN JEOPARDY
The Bible gives you more freedom than you are taught as Jesus declared the Old Testament that regulations minus the punishments are still valid today (Matthew 5:17-18).
IMAGINE that you are holding the Bible in your hands and you have just read and understood LUKE 16:17. You should be in the biggest jaw-dropping disbelief mode that the millennia old Torah is not obsolete even today, implying that no society ever had it easier than us!
If someone with any pretense has discarded any of the doctrines or teachings of that Old Testament portion to adjust or ignore the universal rules of life of the Torah to a particular societal taboo, that person should beware that, because it is easier for the heavens and the earth to vanish than for any unfulfilled doctrines or teachings in the Torah (the Law) to change or to have become obsolete, he or she will incur the wrath of God, when the lost will appear before the judgement court of Jesus, (Revelation 19).
The God of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Moses, who was incarnated as Jesus, is seeking all of us across the globe who can hear His voice (John 10:27-28 to free us, to sign in to become one fold under His Shepherdship (John 10:16) to better be able to resist the assaults of the Deceiver by his human agent.( Hebrews 12:4; James 4:7).
We read the admonishment of Paul in Ephesians 6:10-20:
Finally, my brothers, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. (11) Put on the full armor of God, so that you may be able to stand against the stratagems of the devil. (12) For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual forces of evil in the heavenlies. (13) Because of this, take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having accomplished all things, to stand. (14) Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, (15) and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; (16) above all, taking up the shield of faith, with which you will be able to quench all the flaming arrows of the evil one. (17) And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; (18) through every prayer and petition, praying in every season in the Spirit, being watchful to this same thing with all perseverance and petition concerning all the saints-- (19) and for me, that utterance may be given to me in the opening of my mouth, to make known with boldness the mystery of the gospel, (20) for the sake of which I serve as an ambassador in chains; that in it I may speak boldly, as I must speak.
